The sign-up form! Anywhoo, I'm posting the form first, and then replying with an example. (My Headmistress Wood bio actually)
I will also follow the form with an explanation of what to pust where. As you might be able to tell, I like explaining things way too much.

Name/Alias: What you want to be called. It can be your first name, your nickname, your character's name...If it's your character's name, it's probably better, but for those who don't like the names of their characters...
Gender: Male or Female. At the moment, I can't think of any alternative to those two options.
RPing experience: This is optional. If you don't want to disclose this info, I won't make you. Be warned, I'll probably find out anyway, or someone else will, from the quality of your posts and all.

Name: This should be pretty obvious, but for those of us who have had waaaaaaaay too many expressos, and/or are just pretty much out of it, I'll explain. Here you post your character's name. Pretty simple, huh?
Occupation: Student, teacher, gamekeeper, you name it.
Year/Subject: If you're applying for student, then post your year, if you're interested in becoming a teacher, then put the subject you wish to teach. If you want to be something else, like a groundhog, ah, groundskeeper. (No slur on Hagrid, I was actually thinking of groundhogs for some strange, strange reason)
House: The house that your character is in. Or was in. Or whatever.
Age: Your character's age. Not your own.
Gender: Male or female.
Personality: Your character's personality. It helps us get to 'know' them better. Trust me, it's a good idea.
Background: Just a bit about your character's background. Their parents, their home, their history...
IC: An In Character post. Just a sample of your RPing skills. It doesn't have to be really long. Just a paragraph or so. Not a sentance. If I've said this once, I've said it 1,000 times. I WILL NOT accept bios with sentance long IC's, background's or personalities.

Gender: Female
Physical: Erin has dark brown hair, almost black, that's wavy when it gets wet, and unmanagable when the air is humid. Her eyes are green, but are beginning to turn hazel, much to her chagrin. She has a decent figure and a certain charm about her. Erin is 5' 7", which is in her opinion, the perfect height. Not short, and yet, not really tall either. Just enough height to be imposing, which, however, she could manage without the extra inches. She has an interestingly shaped face, rather a mix between a heart and an oval. Her eyelashes are long and dark, one of her favorite things about herself. She would never have to bother with mascara, even if she wore make-up. Her lips are neither thin nor full, being somewhere in between the two. She never bothers with cosmetics-she never has time. If Erin gets a chance, she'll put on a bit of lipstick and a brush of eyeshadow, but she almost never bothers. Normally she wears her hair down-it's too much trouble to put it up-but sometimes, for a special occasion, she'll french-braid it. Erin hates ponytails, however, and is seldom, if ever, seen in one.
Personality: Erin is fun-loving by nature, and makes for an interesting headmistress. Over the holidays especially, she'll play pranks on the students-and staff! Her faults are simple. She has a tendancy to be jealous, and to hurt other's feelings without realizing it. Her sarcastic tongue and sharp wit often slice deeper than she means them to. This aside, she is usually kind-if impatient-and willing to help others. Possibly a necessity in a Headmistress. She is wise, for the most part, and gets along well with others. She is outgoing and almost never shuts up.
Background: She was born in London to middle-class wizarding parents. Her mother is a healer at St. Mungo's, and her father works for the ministry. She had a fairly normal childhood; She went to Hogwarts, excelled in Charms, and eventually taught that very subject. She was also reasonably good at transfiguration. In the rest of her subjects-especially those which did not involve much wand work, like potions and care of magical creatures, she got A's and E's. When she finished Hogwarts, Erin had to decide what to do with her life. She had several different positions, such as: a bartender in the Leaky Cauldron, a cashier at Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor, a saleswoman at Flourish and Blotts, and a secretary at the Ministry of Magic. Finally, at the age of 26, she settled down to teach charms at Hogwarts. When she was 30, she became deputy headmistress. Quite unusual actually, as she had only been teaching for four years, but the previous deputy headmistress, had been forced to resign, after being convicted of cross-breeding dangerous magical species and selling them on the wizarding black market. Nobody else wanted the deputy headmistress job, since the last three had all had dreadful misfortunes.((Author's Note: Not unlike the 'curse' of the DADA job in HP)) Erin, being naturally flippant about superstitions, and also interested in the career advancement, had accepted happily. The old headmaster was killed by a lethafold while on vacation in Fiji (he had been misinformed that they were extinct in that area.) and Erin became headmistress at the age of 35. She loves her job, but rather misses teaching charms. But she is overworked enough as it is, and if she added teaching to her workload, she would probably break down from exhaustion. Or at least, that's how she puts it.
IC: Erin Wood peered cautiously around the corner. This was strictly forbidden after all. If she was caught sneaking around the fifth year boy's dormitory in the dead of night, she didn't know what would happen. There would probably be a big scandal, and since she owned no invisibility cloak, she had to be extra careful. Sure, she could have put a quick charm on herself so she would stay hidden from view, but where was the fun in that? You're being stubborn. She told herself. Pigheaded was more like it, but these were the same boys who had put a niffler in her bedroom the night before. How the devil they knew how to get into her room, she was sure she didn't know, but the fact was, that in the morning when she woke up, a black furry creature was sleeping on her bed, and the room was a mess. Erin smiled to herself. So careless. They had been passing notes in class regarding the incident, and it had been a simple matter to levitate the slips of paper out of their schoolbags. This was also strictly forbidden, but if a woman serve up a few just desserts...She reached into a pocket and brought out a handful of dungbombs. As quietly as a cat, she moved through the room, setting the small objects in dressers, on windowsills and even in the curtain folds of the canopy beds. Secured with a piece of muggle tape. Erin had never been averse from using non-wizarding methods. She had purchased a muggle ant farm, to amuse the niffler which she had decided to keep as a pet. Of course, the animal ate the ants and then quickly became bored with the empty plastic box, but it was the thought that counted. Erin placed the last dungbomb inn a boy's shoe and quickly left the room. It was already beginning to smell. Her smile widened to a grin, and two words pulsed in her mind. Mischief complete.

Personality:i am a very modd dependable guy when i get furious i i m used to break rules any how to accomplish what i want so please dont try to mess with me at times i am also a good guy at times but still trying to hang and mess around is my habit and its hard to get me in control but for my house i could do anything.

Ok, you'll need to start a new thread for your bio, since this is just the thread for the sign-up form...Also, your IC is more like a description. It should be an In Character thing. Check the Rules and Regulations board to find out more about that. Other than that it looks ok.
Does Manmir have a last name? And if so, please post it.

Personality: Smart(almost Ravenclaw smart), the sort of leader/mediator in his group of friends, if challenged to a duel for no reason, he'll ignore. If challenged to a duel after seeing someone get hurt, he'll go all out and try to end it very fast. Typically gets good grades, and likes to draw.
Background: Mud-Blood. Father was a Muggle(would have been a Gryfindor), Mother's a witch(Ravenclaw). Dad's american, Mom's British.
IC: 9:00. It was the exact time mentioned in the note.
"Looks like he isn't showing up." A small blonde Huffflepuff said quietly.
"Nah. He's just late. He's always late. But he'll be here." Lee replied.
Suddenly the air seemed to ripple as a boy seemed to emerge out of the darkness of the grounds. Whoosh. And all of a sudden an invisibility cloak lay rumpled on the ground, and a boy, about 13 with dark hair in blue and bronze pj's was squatting on the ground, and folding the invisibility cloak gingerly as if it were a piece of sacred material.
"It's really soft y'know." The boy said finally with a smile.
"Yeah. I know." Lee replied with an even bigger smile. "Night Jem, and thanks."
"No prob." He whispered back as he ran as quickly and quietly as he could back up to the castle.
"We should go before 'Ole Mega Beak' finds out were not in our dormitories."
"Yea," the blonde boy replied,"we'll need our strength if we're gonna make a plan to get that 'Marauder's Map' thing tomorrow. Think it's as good as they say it is?"
"Oh I know it's as good as they say it is." Lee said quietly back as they ran back up to the castle quietly.
'I know."

IC: The headmistress called out "Femi, Cleopatra!" Cleopatra walked slowly up to the stool to be sorted. She was so nervous she could hear her own heart beating faster and faster. And finally it yelled out....
